Beware of Car Hijackers!
I think that most of us would have read about the two car hijacking-and-rape cases that took place on the North South highway near Johor.
Last Saturday, I met up with an ex-colleague, N. Just barely a month ago, he also experience a car hijacking and robbery.
It was quite late at night. Both N and another friend were travelling back to Johor from KL on the highway. When they were near Seremban, they were rammed by a car from behind.
Without thinking further, my friend got down from the car to confront the driver of the vehicle. Two Indian men got out of the car and suddenly another two Indian men appeared. Too late, he realized, it was a setup robbery. Fortunately (yes, I mean fortunately) they only lost valuables.
It seem car hijacking crimes are getting rampant these days and most go unreported. So my friends, please be careful these days, if you travel along the highway especially late at night.
