Most Unforgettable Remark Of The Week

Attended a lovely wedding last Saturday. A simple affair, packed with guests, lots of food, meeting up with friends. But the highlight of the wedding has got to be the comment made by the minister, in this case, the Methodist bishop, Rev. Dr Hwa Yung during the 'all-important' moment:

'You may kiss the bride. I'm sure you must have kissed her many times before'

Ha ha ha, what a thing to say for such a moment! Fortunately, the wedding couple are made of sterner stuff and good humour, so no unnecessary awkward moments followed this comment. Congratulations, Yi Jien and Siu Yin! (oops, hope I spelled that right)
