What's the meaning of...
The other night, I started putting cute animal icons next to the links I actively visit. It was more a personal experiment for me since I like fooling around with creating graphics. Unfortunately, some bloggers who have my msn as well, kept insisting, 'Noooooo, you don't normally do things without reason... There must be a hidden meaning why you put these icons'.
One word.... sigh.... so it appears I must explain the course of my actions:
One word.... sigh.... so it appears I must explain the course of my actions:
- I started out with only blue flies for everybody. They are easy to draw. Originally, I only pasted this icon to everybody's link.
- Then I got bored. (Yes, you've heard these first two lines before). OK, let's differentiate the guys and the girls. I'll give the guys some flies. I think I'll use a cat for the girls. I thought a cat is easy to draw. A few circles and some triangles. As for the colors, I used a stereotype. Pink for the girls. So a pink pussycat. And for your information when I think of pussycat, I do NOT think of the modern day butchered twisted obscene meaning associated with the word 'pussy'. I was thinking more of the innocent days of nursery rhymes, remember poetry lines such as 'Pussycat, Pussycat, where have you been'.
- Hmm, looking at it, I thought, 'Still not enough color'. Here I had my first mischievous thought. I must apologize to those names I have 'chickenified' - . In online games, we usually have a chick icon to represent the noobs or inexperienced players. He he, I have played online games with both of them: DOTA and Ragnarok Online. They are hardly noobs. It's just a fun gesture to add more color to my blog. : - P
- Being the naturally demanding person I was, I was still unsatisfied with the amount of color on my blog. Hmm, let's give the older... *cough*, let me rephrase that... more 'matured' guys on my blog a different icon. Hmm, two doctors, a PhD candidate and a mountain man... Doctor = Doc ..., what graphic.... After playing around, I was wondering can I actually draw a dog's face that small. Well, it is actually quite possible... or a pig for that matter. (Thanks for the pun, Jimbo)

I like what you chose. You like your guitar guy on mine? I figured since you say you like playing. I'd find a grand piano for Monty, but don't have one of those smilies.
poohbearee: seriously, don't be so pooh-shy.
annie: mission accomplished.
