Do It Anyway

The speaker shared these words by Mother Teresa in the sermon last Sunday. Found it quite meaningful but forgot about it 'til today so I'm blogging it now.

DO IT ANYWAY - Mother Teresa

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, People may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

Editor's contribution :
Sometimes, you think what you blog is total crap.
Who cares, it's your blog. Blog anyway. (mua ha ha ha)

i agree with all but the last sentence. perhaps it's because i'm not religious. for me, it's between me and myself. my conscience is a tough bugger.

Annie's contribution:

Sometimes, you come across a woman on PMS..
Just remember, *SHE's* always right. Don't mess with her or you will experience everything Jonzz listed, only worse. bah ha ha.

If people think our blogs are crap to read, then there are plenty of others - so move your ass along I always say.

Like we need a blog fashion police or something. ugh.

pooh: yeah i like it cos it's very liberating not to think so much about the why but just do what you like and what is right.

me: I think what's inside is practical. but the last statement would give us 'religious folks' more motivation, he he.

Annie: what did I list? some PMS-torment list? Where? Where?

LM: I thought we're all in that category by default *HA HA HA diving for cover*

Annie: ask pooh to do it.
