In Memory of a Cousin...

Related by blood . . .

Yet I never knew you in life . . .

How ironic . . .
How tragic . . .
How pathetic . . .

How do you weep
For one you never knew
How do you mourn
For one you never loved
How do you remember
One you never recognized

Cruelly taken in the prime of life,
I pray you have moved on
To a happier place
And that God will forgive me
For my ignorance

Amen.

Remember that death is not the end of things. Trust in the LORD, for good things and bad.

i guess when someone is taken in the prime of their life, it's always something sad, whether related or not, whether you know them personally or not.

Everyone, thanks for your kind words. Actually, this bothers me because I did not even realize this cousin existed and the way in which she died.
