Dry Emotional Bank Accounts?
I was reading nyonyapenang's blog entry and came across this interesting and familiar term: emotional bank accounts.
Sigh, guess a person can only give as much as what he has inside. Take out too much and our system will be dry and imbalanced. And we become less patient, more irritable and easily angered. And we start expressing abnormal expectations and demanding our rights. I should know. I've become quite the raging monster in the past week.
Sigh, I need a good retreat. Maybe a biblical one, 40 days in the desert, ha ha...

But whatever is it, I still am keeping my chin high. You should too.
(:
I think I need a retreat myself
It's a totally different insight there
Know what you mean. I've had empty "bank accounts" too. Some people can drain away everything out of you; and then some people with just one email or one "Hi there" can make your day. Some people have that power - you just gotta find that person. If it's me, I'll kick and poke you everyday until you hurt. Anything to put a quarter in your bank account yanno. I'm unselfish that way.
:D
Joke aside. maybe try yoga or qi gong?
chinkinin: hard to visualize an emotional bank account isn't it or how full or empty, or how much withdrawal or deposit we need
kyel: Heart heavy, hard to chin high, lol! Need external support... ka ka
zeroimpact: ya, but i guess it's very true. a person well rested and in a good mood won't get ruffled as easily.
Annie: Unselfish?? Kicks... LOL, with Annie around, my bank account can recharge a bit...
yenjai: Anything that can be categorized under 'Lepak'
jomel: I want your Holiday type of refill. HA HA HA
PB: . . .?
Firehorse: hormones... definitely must blame hormones also. ha ha ha
