My Dream Holiday
OK after much nagging from Mott, I'm finally doing this tag from her and Bernard.
At this moment, the country I would most like to have a holiday in is Australia because I've been hearing and seeing so much about it from fellow bloggers and some new friends in my workplace.
The places I'm eyeing are Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Tasmania.
One of the main driving factors of going there would be to hang out with friends and see a different way of life compared to the one I'm used to here in Malaysia; the different seasons and sceneries, different schedules and different people.
Another temptation would be the food there. Western food has a certain appeal to me which explains my never-diminishing waistline. Steaks, fish and chips, seafood, cheese and wine.... ahhh.... hang the cholesterol! I'm also fascinated by a dessert mentioned by an Australian when I asked him for foods unique to Australia - 'pavlova'. Hmmm.. guess I'll try that too. Dang, I shouldn't write about food first; makes me hungry(Growl!)
The ocean, the waves, the wide beaches... ahh.... somehow, that holds a great appeal to me too. Comparing that to the polluted beaches and seaside on the west coast here.... sigh...
Of course, there's the nature part, the wildlife I want to see - kangaroos, tasmania devils, penquins, koala bears, if possible in their natural habitats... well, maybe that's wishful thinking, but heck... I can dream, right.
OK, guess that's about it for a dream holiday.
