The Astronaut Classmate and Photo Albums

I haven't been following the news on the Malaysian astronaut.

I didn't even know who this doctor candidate was.

Only his name was a Dr. Sheikh something...

Until last night in Chinese class, my teacher mentioned he used to study at her house...

Then it all clicked...

I asked for that fellow's age...

It was then I realized...

Oh my gosh... the astronaut is my primary school classmate...

Imagine that ....

Then I went through the house digging through old photo albums!

And discovered my class photos were missing...

Frantically sifting through pile after pile.... I discovered a whole chunk of old pictures I didn't even know existed.

Wow, deja vu... time for some heavy digitizing...

And then I found it... hmm...

Interesting... out of all the class photos taken, he only appeared in the first one...

What's the big deal, you ask...

Well, nothing really... It's just interesting when the past collides with the present. I mean, it's almost 3 decades ago... who would remember?

But I did. And I still think it's cool.
