The First Three Days in Kuching
Sorry, no pictures to put up yet because the line here is terribly slow.
Anyway, here are some notes to remind myself of the first three days in Kuching when I can get home to a proper computer and line, and start blogging. HA HA!
On the first day, we arrived and explored the Waterfront area, hunting for seafood. (wasn't very successful). On the second day, we went to the famous Cultural Village and had some ethnic food. At night, we made some new friends, a delightful French couple from UK, Pauline and Philip and a friendly, Canadian Chinese guy, Chris whom we later went for some fabulous seafood with. On the third day, which is today, we went to Semenggok which has a sort of wildlife sanctuary. Then we rushed to the Sunday market at Satok (ok, I know it's a Saturday, =P) I ran out of shirts today and had to buy some new ones. In the evening, we met two Sarawak bloggers(pals of TZ) who graciously drove us around.
Yawn... time to call it a night....
